Marco Rocchio has been importing coffee from Guatemala for decades - and most of that coffee has come from the region surrounding the Volcan de Agua, pictured from above.
The area around the volcano is world-renowned for coffee and most of the Guatemalan coffee exported to the U.S. comes from the surrounding farms. That is why Marco decided to took for new coffee in yet undiscovered areas of Guatemala. So he and Rocchio Family's Larry Mono flew into Guatemala City, took a 5-hour long bus ride into the northern Guatemalan Rain Forest in the area of Alta Verapaz. From there, Marco and Larry went into the surrounding mountains and what he discovered was amazing.
